Gunther has been involved with The Blessing Board for almost 10 years. Initially he loaded vehicles and then later became a member of the board. He enjoys parking and loading the vehicles the most as it allows him to see first hand how the blessing of furniture and the opportunity to share what God has done for us can change lives.
After Ted’s first exposure to the Blessing Board in 2018, he was impressed with the vision and purpose of the ministry. In 2024, the Lord prompted Ted to consider becoming their first volunteer Chaplain. Ted is an ordained Presbyterian pastor for over 30 years and currently serves a local church in Hampton. The joy of ministry and drawing people into a deeper connection with Jesus Christ is what makes Ted’s heart tick. Bring a stethoscope and find out for yourself; he will be around to pray with you and dig into any questions you have about life with Jesus.
Amy has served with the Blessing Board as a volunteer and board member since 2013. She loves working at the Blessing Board because every day is an opportunity to serve others and keep my eyes off myself. She loves being a part of an organization striving to change lives by providing furnishings that can make a house a home! She feels blessed to have had the opportunity to see The Blessing Board grow throughout the years and see many of these roles develop into staff positions, allowing more people in the community to be served!
